Adam Protextor is a performer, improviser, rapper, host, and huge movie fan. Originally from Austin, TX, he recently starred in the ColdTowne Theater production of Amber Ruffin’s Bigfoot: The Musical and has performed at Edinburgh Fringe Fest, Out of Bounds, Sound on Sound Fest, and Fun Fun Fun Fest. He is also the co-founder of the award-winning Austin Mic Exchange (2012-2017), Austin’s longest-running weekly hip hop event, and his most recent LP, “American Neon”, was produced by Grammy-winner Matt Puckett and featured CupcakKe and Mélat. He’s one half of the independent production house Baby Lion Studios, for which he directed and starred in the spec sitcom pilot WIND-UPS, based on his time managing the independent toy store Toy Joy. Now living in Los Angeles, Adam is currently working on 2 albums, developing Wind-Ups, and watching as many movies as he possibly can. His favorite? The NeverEnding Story.
